✈️ ADM Trainer

Practice the decision, not just the checklist

Aeronautical decision making is hard to rehearse. ADM Trainer puts you in a realistic failure in your own aircraft and responds to what you actually type, so you can work through the call before you ever need to make it.

The demo needs no signup.

How it works

Step 1

You pick your aircraft

Type any make and model. The scenario is built around what that airplane actually has: its engine, fuel system, electrical system, gear and instruments.

Step 2

Something goes wrong

You get a realistic, in-flight situation with the indications a real pilot would see. The cause is hidden, and not every scenario is an emergency.

Step 3

You respond in your own words

No multiple choice. Type what you would do, turn by turn, and the scenario plays out the consequences of your actual decisions.

Step 4

You get honest feedback

A short debrief on what you did well and, only when there is something real, one thing worth considering. No score, and no invented criticism.

Built around the decision to continue or land

Every failure carries a judged answer: land immediately, land as soon as practical, or continue with a plan. Your debrief is checked against that answer and against the real equipment of the aircraft you chose, so you aren't told to use a system your airplane doesn't have.

Built by Joe Mattison, a certificated flight instructor and former air traffic controller.
